Accommodation in Cowes


Nestled as it is, two weeks prior to Cowes Week, accommodation should be relatively available.

Monday 20 June Challenge Deadline Challenges shall be lodged by the National Authority on the official form. See NoR1.4.1 Challenges.
Thursday 30 June Entry Deadline

Race entry shall be completed. See NoR1.4 Challenges and Entry.


A Provisional Crewlist shall be submitted to the RORC. See NoR1.7.1 Provisional Crewlists.

1700 hrs, Thursday 14 July Crewlist and Rating Deadline

Final Crewlist in respect of each boat shall be provided no later than 1700 hrs. See NoR1.7.2 Final Crewlist.


Rating Deadline: Valid IRC Endorsed certificates shall be lodged with the RORC. See NoR1.6.1.2 Rating Deadline.

1200, Friday 22 July Early Registration and Berthing

Early registration opens at 1200 and the Cowes Yacht Haven opens for competitor berthing.

0900, Saturday 23 July Registration, Skippers Briefing and Opening Party

Registration - all boats must be in Cowes Yacht Haven from 0900.


There will be a Briefing for skippers and navigators followed by an Opening Party at the RORC Clubhouse, Cowes.

Sunday 24 July 3 x Inshore Races

Start at 1030

Monday 25 July Offshore Race

24-36 hour race starting from the Royal Yacht Squadron at 1000

Tuesday 26 July Offshore Race (cont) Boats to start finishing.
Wednesday 27 July 2 x Inshore Race Start at 1030
Thursday 28 July 3 x Inshore Races Start at 1030
Friday 29 July Round the Isle of Wight Race Start at 1000
Saturday 30 July 2 x Inshore Race Start at 1030
Saturday 30 July Final Prizegiving

The final Prizegiving shall be at the RORC Clubhouse, Cowes from 1730.






Boats may attend at Cowes Yacht Haven from 1200 Friday 22nd July and shall attend from 0900 Saturday 23rd July until Saturday 30th July 2016 and all other times during the regatta when not racing or in transit to and from racing. This requirement may be waivered only by written request to the Race Committee, whose decision is final.


Berthing Fees

Berthing fees (1200 Friday 22nd July - 1200 Sunday 31st July inclusive) for competing boats at Cowes Yacht Haven are included in the Race Entry Fees. Berthing outside these dates and for tenders or support boats, including RIBs, dinghies, powerboats shall be pre-booked and paid direct with Cowes Yacht Haven. Due to space constraintts, craft arriving without booking may not be accommodated.
